"ever since we landed something felt off about this place and during research missions i always thought i saw something in the corner of my eye and the purple sky always gave me a headache. we should have left this place behind when we had the chance. monsters have invaded the many bases in the area. my research team has been stuck in Vanta-base_03 for god knows how long now and the power shut down in half the facility. with monsters blocking the exits there is seemingly no way out. guess were gonna have to get use to this"

You are a subject at vanta base 03 on the alien planet "planetamortifer" (also called death planet) after a tragic incident where multiple alien monsters broke in to the facility cutting power in half leaving most of the facility in total darkness.
